About Your Photographer

Hi! Thank you for visiting Captured by Carla. I'm Carla! I'm Eastern NC born and raised. I am a 2x graduate of East Carolina...go PIRATES! I have admired photography for many years. I eventually began volunteering at my church and decided to venture out as a free lance photographer in 2016. I often warn clients that I am not a full-time photographer. I do have a demanding full-time job and a family so there are times when those two things have to be prioritized over photography. 

I simply love people! I aspire to capture special moments that will tell a story. From special moments as the senior prom to walking down the aisle, I love the art that life creates.

Feel free to contact me to see how I can capture your special moments. I primarily serve Eastern NC-Greenville, Kinston, Goldsboro, New Bern and areas in between. Travel is available for an additional fee. I am available for special occasions such as weddings and birthday parties, model portfolio shoots, sporting events, and everything else in between.
